So I have been thinking alot about this. You know how you go to the park with your dog, or your friend brings over thier dog and your two animals meet for the first time? Yes they sometimes growl and are sometimes friendly but it always leads to one thing after they have met and thats butt sniffing.

IT programers and developers are really not so unlike those dogs. We have all had to clean up other people's messes. Whether it be poorly written and documented code, or a server left in shambles, or just users who are afraid to ask for anything because the last IT guy bit thier heads off. So when we meet a new person in IT that we might end up working with, we sniff thier ass. We check them out, we ask them questions and sometimes this can come off as being rather rude and nasty.

I mean with the absolutly wonderful social skills that many of us in the IT feild have I couldn't imagine why this would happen, but it does. I try to withold judgement of someone untill I have sniffed them and they have given me a good sniff.

Next time you meet someone from the IT feild don't judge them untill you have said your hello's and all the hissing and posturing has died down.

Well I have decided to take it upon myself to write my own blogging software. It's in it's basic stages now but coming along. There are a ton of premade ones out there but I really wanted to build this one myself from the ground up.
